Classroom Pets
DaisyDaisy was born in December of 2014. I applied for a grant from PetCo called Pets in the Classroom. She teaches us many things in school about habitat and responsibility. She can be taken home on the weekends by students via Google Forms Sign up sheet (see button-link above). She loves her fruits, vegetables, and timothy hay. Guinea pigs are usually nocturnal, but Daisy has adjusted her schedule to accommodate our classroom schedule.

ReaperReaper (short for The Grim Reaper) was born in June of 2011. She is a "house pet" that makes appearances at school from time to time. Her name was given to her when we thought "she" was a "he". After taking her to a reptile show, called Repticon, we were informed that Reaper was actually a girl! She is a nice snake that loves being held. She only eats thawed frozen mice and is fed in a feeding tank separate from her home.
